Why Routine Pet Wellness Exams Are Important
Puppies and kittens usually need to be seen at least once a month for checkups and boosters. Adult pets should be examined once a year, and senior pets should visit every 6 months. When examining your pet, your veterinarian will check them from nose to tail for any abnormal changes, and set a baseline of health for future reference. They may also recommend bloodwork to assess organ function and screen for parasites. Seeing your pet on a routine basis allows us to detect signs of illness early on, before it worsens and becomes more costly to treat.
Keeping your pet healthy and happy for life is our highest priority, and we would be happy to help you choose the most beneficial wellness plan for them. If you have questions about our wellness packages and services, let us know at (708) 469-6050, or feel free to speak with us in person.
